INTO THE LIGHT is an art piece by Joyce V Newrzella in close collaboration with Jacob Brandes (construction/light) and Moritz Hilscher aka Krumme Visuals (laser).
What started as an act of documenting the light, the laser and their reflection in a mirorr, quickly became an opportunity to see the unseen.
When looking into a laser is harmful for the eye, these film stills reveal the hidden heart of the light, the danger and the many shades of light. It allows us to see, what the eye normally can’t see. A transient moment of pure intensity and energy.
